Based on: The excellent series of pulp-era novels by Edgar Rice Burroughs, and more specifically Tarzan of the Apes.

Premise: In the heart of darkest Africa, a lost human boy is adopted by a tribe of apes and raised as their own. Though his environment from infancy is entirely like his family's, however, something sets young Tarzan apart... something different. Through intelligence, cunning, and determination, Tarzan rises up from humble ape roots to become the Lord of the Jungle.

Then, one day, his world comes to a screeching halt as strange creatures covered with odd furs (clothing), who look sort of like him... what does Tarzan have in common with these foreigners from the outside world? If it's what he thinks it is... what will will it mean for him next?

Official Site: tarzan.com (This is the future site of the estate of Edgar Rice Burroughs. I think it's very possible the site will be active before the movie comes out)

Official Site: Disney (Now more fully online, with most of what you might expect (no games yet), and happily, they removed the old Johnny Weismuller-style Tarzan-yell sound file that was formerly installed on the front page.)
