Screenwriters: Wesley Strick (co-writer of Face/Off, The Saint, Wolf), Robert Towne (co-writer of Without Limits, The Firm, Mission: Impossible) Note: In the two years that this movie has been gestating, there've been reports of six different screenwriters tackling it. Which script will actually be filmed is not confirmed. I'm listing Strick and Towne because they're the latest team reported.
Based upon: The popular 60's TV series starring Martin Landau, and the sequel to the 1996 blockbuster which also starred Tom Cruise.
Premise: No firm details about the plot yet. Presumedly, agent Ethan Hunt (Cruise) will be returning to spy on people and bring down bad guys.
