BLOOPERS       started on 1st June

This is a new section which I intend to build earlier but the main obstacles are I haven't watch the movie yet, and some of the star wars fan wouldn't agree with me spreading out what the flaws are in the movie. First, TPM is one of the best movie ever created, so due to the fact that it is one of the wonders that happened in our movie scenes, we have to also see every details of this movie, the good and bad side.. let me put it.. the jedi and also know the darkside, This is some of the bloopers, thanx Ryan.   • There are huge statues of horses on the top of a building. Look for the aerial shot just before the final celebration scene. It's shown some time during the parade scene. Since when does Naboo have horses? (Source: Bev Kodak)

  • An interesting point/almost blooper. As the Queen's cruiser loses its shield generator as it struggles to get past the blockade, Captain Panaka comments something to the effect of "we'll all be sitting DUCKS". Were DUCKS a prevalent species such a "long time ago in a galaxy far, far away"? However in the novelization of ANH, Obi-Wan evidentally says something to the effect of, "Even a duck has to learn how to swim." To which Luke responds "Whats a duck?"   • When Anakin is saying goodby to Mom for the last time, look at his necklace. During the scene as the shot shows him from behind then switches to the front, the necklace moves in its position with relation to his shirt collar. (Source: willslac)

  • During the pod racing sequence, there are a few cuts to Anakin's mother, Qui-Gon, etc. for reaction shots. Of the three or four reaction shots, Anakin's mother winces as Anakin almost crashes.   • When Anakin first enters his room there is a lot of junk hanging from the ceiling, the most prominent item of which is a 'scoop' from the 70s game Trac-ball. (Source: David Wharton and Roy the Starkiller - Website)

  • when qui-gon first enters the queen's ship and retracts his lightsabre still facing the hangar, there's a couple frames of film where we can see the prop sword as a black line. (Source: Ha Quach)

  • the ceiling of anakin's bedroom is painted red & black, the black being geometric scrawls -- oh so very much like darth maul.(Source: Ha Quach)

  • there's no reflection of ships flying atop when the naboo ship lands on coruscant though there's plenty of shadows on the buildings. (this one is debatable) (Source: Ha Quach)

  • not sure about this one so i need someone to back me up: when jar jar and the queen are in the 'hotel room' in couresant and the queen is obviously distressed (jar jar asks her if the gungan are going to die and she says 'i hope not'), look at jar jar's reflection in the lamp.   • looking at anakin's podracer from the front, on the right are two yellow insignias. the first one is a V, oh so similar to the one warn by amidala's guards on their caps. the second one is a rectangular with some jagged edges but inside it are two cut out boxes one on top another (signifying good/bad leia/luke duality?). viewing the pod from the side on the door we can see a stylized A.S. for anakin skywalker.   • on one of the first views of the ground battle after the gungans emerge from the fog, we see a human form running around haplessly while all the CG gungans are in fair order. (Source: Ha Quach)

  • When they are on tatoonie and skywalker is showing off his pod racer and all his little friends come up, there are a couple girls, if you look hard you can see that the bigger of the girls has braces on her teeth. Didn't know they had that kind of dentistry in the SW universe.(Source: kyle)

  • Lucas' 18-year old daughter,Amanda,who recently changed her name to "Tyger" plays Tey How,the Neimoidian with cyborg parts (Source: HOTSAXWEDO@aol.com)

  • Look for the three HP deskjet printer cartridge cases on the table where Jar Jar is sleeping when Padme covers Annakin with the blanket. (Source: Jonathan Highsmith)

  • This one is a tough call. At the end of the movie as Palpatine arrives on Naboo, many Jedi follow him off the ship. In back there is someone that is NOT Sam Jackson, but many people believe is standing in for Jackson. (Source: A lot of people)

  • During the escape scene from Naboo, when everybody is getting on the royal starship, Obi Wan and Qui Gon are taking out droids, There are no reflections of this battle in the mirrored finish of the royal cruiser. (Source: Dillon316)

  • When Qui Gon and OB1 are talking outside of the Queen's ship on Tatooine, the scene appears to be flipped due to the fact that OB1's pony tail is on the wrong side. But it's been pointed out that Ewan McGregor's mole IS on the right cheek meaning wardrobe needs to make sure they stick hair the same place each day. (Source: Rebel Spy with help from Imperial One)

  • Throughout the Mos Espa scenes, you will notice Padme, limping, then not limping, then limping again. Her right leg is thicker than the left when they are entering Mos Espa because of her cast when she hurt her ankle in Tunisia (Source: Serket)

  • Qui-Gon then says to Shmi: "I'm Qui-Gon Jinn...your son was kind enough to offer us shelter." When Qui-Gon utters those lines, watch Padme's mouth. Someone at ILM must have screwed up, because her mouth says the exact same lines with Qui-Gon. (Source: Robert Strenn)

  • It is at the end of the scene where Padme is introduced to Jar Jar, as she cleans R2. The last shot of this scene is reversed, you can tell by looking at R2's dome, his holoprojector is on the wrong side. (Source: jedi1138)

  • When all the droids lose power and the Gungan General says (in plain english, not Gungan accent) "The ship has been destroyed, they have no power." (Source: Darth Strike)

  • You can see the support rod between R2D2's legs right before they enter watoo's junk yard. The same mentioned in Lynne's Diary (Source: Tom Klement)

  • Another non-blooper but cool note: When the battle droids are shut off the droid that Jar Jar knocks over has 1138 written on it's back. Darth Vader can also be heard breathing near the very end of the credits. (Source: Taryn Na'fal and NewsDroid)

  • Anakin passes by on the first lap of the pod race.. they show R2 and the kids.. As R2 turns his head to follow him.. the left side of his head comes off track and pops up about an inch... The following time they show him.. it's fixed.. but when Anikin wins.. It is off kilter again... (Source: Robert LaRock)

  • The amount of dirt on Anikin's face as he is racing (when they do the face shots) changes over the course of the race.. from none.. to getting bad.. to bad (that's normal) but then his face is clean... then dirty again at the end (Source: Robert LaRock)

  • When the queen pulls the guns from the thrown and after they shoot the droids.. she starts to walk to they Viceroy and her left foot slips on the floor and she almost loses her balance... (Source: Robert LaRock)

  • Not really a blooper but a fun fact, E.T. can be seen in the Galactic Senate scene with others of his race. (Source: Kevin Piech at NewsDroid.com)

  • In the first half of the movie when they are escaping from the planet Naboo, watch when they walk into the hangar, there's a shiny N-1 fighter above them, but you only see the reflections of the first 3 people. This is a pure error, there is no other reason why you wouldn't see everybody's reflection because they all walk under the same spot. (this one is debatable) (Source: Rebel Spy)
